The Sanctuary

I remember the day I died. There was a break in the clouds, and only then did the crimson liquid drip from the skies in biblical quantities. It seemed as though Mother Nature herself was on the rag. Like a bulldozer, the land tempest tore apart my humble abode. I remember seeing my grandparents holding each other close as they walked toward the nearest shelter, the red rain saturating their clothes and seeping from their skin. I haven't logged in for quite a while, and I haven't had anything to submit - no inspiration to write, no dazzling and barely-par drawings created on paper. But I'm still here, and still more than happy to read or view and admire all of you guys' submissions.
